Message	on my car for various reasons. As long as you use the correct oil: 15w-50 or 20w50 with zinc addictive, no oil starvation, the rod and main bearings should last you 100k+ miles. My bearings look brand new every time on a 600+rwhp engine. You have to make sure the thrust tolerance is set correctly. The thrust bearings are more likely to wear out before the rod and main bearings do IMHO.
